So, basically, I've been around for a while. Not like some of these Grand Dames of Fandom, no, but long enough to have been through any number of awards ceremonies.

Now, I've won my share over the years, so this page really isn't about me. It's about the incredible stories I've found out there that get little to no recognition.

1) I am deeply, deeply sick of this.

2) I have a huge ego.

3) I have a ridiculously talented graphic artist for a friend.

Add it together and you have...

The Te Gusto awards. Check it out, brothers and sisters. And if you forget to feedback the authors I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish. Like a *fish*.

Got it? Good.

Oh, did I ever not want to like this story. It pissed me off. It made me sad. It left me *hurting*.

Which are, of course, all the reasons why this story *needs* recognition. I guarantee it will stay with you for a long, long time.

Second

I've been reading in Sentinel fandom almost since I discovered slash. Long haired little sexy monkey boy, big cop with the unfuckingbelievable body, mysticism, action, guns... what's not to love?

Well, the writing. The acting. The everything. But see, the cool thing is that, if you leave watching the actual episodes up to the writer, they'll take what few pearls they find and *run* with them. Which is exactly what the strikingly beautiful Aristide does with this story. Wonderful.

Third

The Spike knows Ethan better than anyone, period. This is a fine and somehow wistful piece, featuring all the humor, angst, sensuality, and creep any girl could ask for.

And more.
